No care experience? Use transferable examples
Caring for a family member, volunteering, retail, hospitality and customer service all give strong examples of patience, communication and teamwork. Be honest about what you've done, and show you understand the role: personal care, observations, supporting nurses and reporting changes.
The safety answer they want
For any question about a patient getting worse or something going wrong, the key point is that you would not ignore it. You'd report it straight away to the nurse in charge and record what you saw. Knowing your boundaries is a strength, not a weakness.
